Esperanza Meadows is a 5 acre homestead farm located in the Orlando Metro area of Florida. Our focus is on purebred, ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf and Nubian goats.  We have been a registered herd under “Anza Meadows” since 2018 and have been steadily growing since.  I am Brooke Smith and I run the day-to-day operations of the farm. My kids are farmschoolers and 4H members, who are able to focus their days on caring for the livestock in addition to their education.

My family’s pride focuses on continuing to enhance our herd for proper health, dairy production, and conformation.  We participate in several American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) sanctioned livestock shows across the state annually, the ADGA Linear Appraisal program when available, and monthly DHIR milk testing through Washington DHIA on all freshened/in milk does in our herd. Beyond the technical details, our herd is more than just business: they’re cherished members of our family that we spend hours with daily!  We know each of our goats’ personalities, quirks, favorite snacks, and herd buddies.  We truly enjoy our “work” and feel lucky that this passion is ours to have and share!

We hope to see you at the next goat show in Florida and we always invite you to come say hello and ask any questions you might have.  We love our farm and we want to help you see all the fun and exciting qualities about dairy goats, whether that’s seeing them at a local fair or bringing some livestock into your own life!
